What is the world’s most expensive wine?

July 18, 2019

If you are a wine-lover, you must have heard about Liber Pater, a luxury wine brand. Its next vintage wine of €30,000 each bottle has become the most expensive wine ever sold in the history of drink business.

Boutique Bordeaux producer Liber Pater announces that the brand only produces 240 bottles of exclusive wines in 2019. It is going to release its high-end wine in September. 6 months before the most expensive wine in the world is released, Liber Pater starts to advertise its product through emails to its potential customers. The price for each bottle, which is up to €30,000, as what the owner of the brand Loïc Pasquet said, reflects clearly the huge demand for this exclusive drink.

The founder Loïc Pasquet claims that the key of taste for his most expensive wine ever is that it is made from ungrated, autochthonous varieties like Tarney-Coulant, Pardotte and Castets which were grown in Bordeaux.

Pasquet has built a good reputation for himself and for his brand in Bordeaux as well as in all over the world, especially the world of the rich. He always focuses on quality rather than quantity. From 2005 when he took over the business, Liber Pater brand only released 5 vintages. They were in 2006, 2007, 2009, 2010 and 2011. This brand did not release 2016 and 2017 wines.

The brand always introduces its products in small quantity. The entire vineyard is just about 2.5ha. With this small area, the maximum bottles can be produced are 1200. And, of course, its price has to be high at €30,000.  It is the price for the wine quality, the effort to make each bottle and the limited bottle sold.

Now you have got the answer to the question “What is the world’s most expensive wine?”. Setting product at an extremely high price and manufacturing limited products are actually an art of work. Following Vuhes for updating more news about luxury wine and luxury lifestyle.
