What books do the rich read?

What books do the rich read?  The answer after interviewing the world's 1,200 richest people is here!

When you go into the home of a rich person, one of the first things you'll see is the vast library of books they've used to learn how to become more successful on their own.  What books does that library include?

Steve Siebold is a self-made millionaire famous for starting his business from two empty hands, having said that when he was halfway through college, he started his journey to richness by an interview with a millionaire.

Since then, he has interviewed more than 1,200 of the richest people in the world over the past three decades, writing the book "How Do Rich People Think?"  and draw valuable experiences to become a millionaire myself.  From his research on the traits of the wealthy, he found one thing in common: there is one thing in common in the entertainment of the successful world: They educate themselves by reading.

"When you go into the home of a rich man, one of the first things you'll see is the vast library of books they've used to self-learn to become more successful," Siebold says.  While the lower classes read novels, tabloids and entertainment magazines. "

Rich people prefer education over entertainment.  Taking billionaire Warren Buffett as an example, he estimates that 80% of his workday is dedicated to reading, he said: "Reading 500 pages a day, that's how knowledge works and builds up, like compound interest accumulating over time.

Media millionaire Oprah Winfrey believes that reading has helped her change from a poor childhood to a rich one.  Reading inspired her to see further and start thinking about how to change her own world, Winfrey said: "I learned to read at the age of three and soon discovered a whole world to conquer beyond our ranch in Mississippi ".

Billionaire Bill Gates can be considered a read enthusiast when reading more than 50 books per year.  And when asked how billionaire Elon Musk learned how to build rockets, he simply said that I read books.

According to Thomas Corley, author of Habits of Getting Rich: The Daily Success Habit of the Rich, 67% of the wealthy watch TV for an hour or less each day, while only 23% of the poor keep TV viewing time under 60 minutes.  Corley also points out that only 6% of successful people watch reality shows, while 78% of the poor watch them.

The fact is that not all rich people get their childhood investment through formal education, many of the most successful get little formal education.  However, Mr. Siebold thinks these people become successful because they appreciate the power of self-study long after college.

It is stated that the most successful people flood the autobiographies of other successful individuals seeking guidance, inspiration, and motivation.

Siebold's research is very interesting and useful for those who want to be successful, it's the first step you have to be a "literate" person, meaning as Siebold pointed out that different classes read and watch different things.  If every day you read information on Twitter, Facebook, or information about the celebrities then you can hardly become an expert in a certain field.  And if you do not learn moral, civilized, and elegant manners, then you can hardly step into the world of gentleness.
