Vampire Facial is related to HIV and Hepatitis

September 19, 2018

The aesthetic treatment – Vampire Facial, that was advised by Celebrities, is related to HIV and Hepatitis.

Some celebrities such as Minka Kelly and Kim Kardashian West are advising an aesthetic treatment called Vampire Facial, which has developed over the last several years. Using platelet-rich plasma with microneedling speeds up the skin’s regenerative abilities, boosts a reduction in sun spots, wrinkles, melisma, acne scars as well as other beauty problems. Although the results of this celebrity-favorite treatment are great, experts are still reconsidering this anti-aging treatment.

A spa in New Mexico offers the Vampire Facial as an aesthetics treatment in their facility for people who have infections like hepatitis or HIV. Upon inspection, beauty experts warned that unsafe practices within this spa because they can lead to the infection. This spa has been closed and consumers who performed a Vampire Facial at this spa on May or June are being advised to get tested for hepatitis B, hepatitis C and HIV.
It is unknown to define how the infections are contracted within the spa, these infections are spread through being contact with blood and other bodily fluids. This is the reason why people who perform these beauty treatments have higher risks under unsafe cases. Nonetheless, it should not discourage other people from performing this collagen-boosting procedure. It is recommended to do research before trying out any skin treatment and to find a board-certified doctor before performing any in-office aesthetic procedures.
Your skin may look red, bloody and swollen right after this aesthetic treatment, you will have a glowing skin immediately, yet it can take 1-3 months for the full results. Athletes have used this aesthetic procedure to heal sprains, and skin care experts are researching this procedure for hair restoration.
