Too surprised with the first hydrogen-air taxi
Lowering the number of greenhouse gases in the air is necessary to reduce greenhouse effects. Recently, air taxi ‘Skai’ electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) has been introduced. It soon receives huge attention because of transportation capacity and environment-friendly.

What is the first hydrogen-air flying taxi?
eVTOL was developed by Alaka’i Technologies and Designworks. It was made mainly from carbon, making it not only rigid but also flexible. According to a representative from the company, this flying car will use hydrogen fuel cells, the cleanest type of energy in the world. Therefore, it will reduce the bad impacts on the environment while still run more efficiently than fuel cells.
Alaka’i Technologies and Designworks is a start-up based in Hopkinton Massachusetts. It has introduced their innovation flying taxi using hydrogen fuel cells in Los Angeles and this product is pending FAA approval.
Why it is incredible?

As using hydrogen power, the emissions are only water vapour instead of CO2 like most kinds of cars available in the market. Water vapour is 95% reusable and 99% recyclable, helping to eliminate the use of gas-powered alternatives. The flying taxi also can fly about 400 miles and carry up to 5 people, including one pilot and four passengers. It is equipped with 5G Wifi so passengers can keep connected during the fly.

The eVTOL’s fuel cells can be recyclable up to 99% and are able to afford longer-distance flying. Hydrogen power for its cells is got from renewable sources which are widely available in nature such as solar, wind. The refuelling is so quick, at under 10 minutes. Passenger seats are safe with 4-way seatbelt and also designed to absorb shock. This flying car even has airframe parachute to carry the car safety in an emergency.
Air taxi ‘Skai’ electric vertical take-off and landing is no doubt the taxi of the future. It has many incredible features for each fly to be safe and convenient while still help to lower the greenhouse emissions.
