And if you are concerning about making changes in your appearance with a nose job, facelift, or other facial cosmetic surgery, fall is recommended to be the perfect time for you and then you can enjoy your new look this fall.

According to a plastic surgeon, a large number of patients choose spring and summer to have their cosmetic surgery; however, other patients decide to wait until autumn, which is known to be proper for recovery. Summer holiday is over and their children are back to their school. Everybody is settled into their daily routine and this may make planning for consultations, cosmetic surgery as well as post-op visits a bit easier. Moreover, patients can find easier to conceal their healing incisions behind their thick clothes when it is cool.
Actually, many patients start planning their facial rejuvenation surgery when their big events are coming, such as a holiday gathering, wedding, or reunion. Surgeons recommend that you should begin the consultation process as soon as possible. This is because it will make sure that you have enough time to understand your procedure, plan out expectations with your surgeon, recovery times and give you time to look your best.
On average, patients with facelift can need 1- 2 weeks of downtime and they are just allowed to do very light activities. Also, they need to plan on another 2- 4 weeks before starting with more strenuous activities. After a couple of more weeks, when final results are taken shape, and patients can show off their new appearance.

If your life is crazy through summer, you can make it easier by planning your cosmetic surgery for mid-October when you do not need to worry about falling behind. Besides, many patients prefer to perform procedure right before a longer holiday in order to keep their surgery under wraps. Moreover, if your children are in school, you may want to avoid holiday weeks and perform your surgery while their school is in session to give you plenty of time to recover.
