According to the ranking recently published by Forbes, the world currently has 2,755 people with assets from 1 billion USD, an increase of 660 billionaires compared to last year.

Finance and Investment is the sector that creates the most billionaires for the world.

1. Finance and Investment

 Number of billionaires: 371, accounting for 13%

 Richest person: Warren Buffett ($96 billion), chairman and CEO of Berkshire Hathaway - a group that owns stakes in more than 60 businesses, including Duracell and Dairy Queen.

2. Technology

 Number of billionaires: 365, accounting for 13%

 Richest person: Jeff Bezos ($177 billion), founder of e-commerce giant Amazon.  Bezos is also the owner of the Washington Post and Blue Origin.

3. Manufacturing

 Number of billionaires: 331, accounting for 12%

 Richest person: He Xiangjian ($35 billion), founder of home appliance maker Midea Group.  The group has more than 200 subsidiaries and trades on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange.

4. Fashion and Retail

 Number of billionaires: 273, accounting for 10%

 Richest person: Bernard Arnault ($150 billion), Chairman and CEO of LVMH - a group that owns more than 70 luxury brands, including Louis Vuitton, Tiffany & Co.  and Sephora.

5. Health care

 Number of billionaires: 221, accounting for 8%

 Richest person: Jiang Rensheng and family ($ 24.4 billion), president of Chongqing ZFSW Biological Products vaccine company, known as Zhifei.  The company is working to develop its own TB vaccine.

6. Food and drink

 Number of billionaires: 219, accounting for 8%

 Richest person: Zhong Shanshan ($68.9 billion), President of Nongfu Spring Bottled Water Company.  He also owns the pharmaceutical company Beijing Wantai Biological Pharmacy.

7. Real Estate

 Number of billionaires: 215, accounting for 8%

 Richest person: Lee Shau Kee ($31.7 billion), co-founder of real estate conglomerate Sun Hung Kai.

 Number of billionaires: 188, accounting for 7%

 Richest person: Mukesh Ambani ($84.5 billion), President of Reliance Industries - an investment group in the fields of petrochemicals, retail, telecommunications ...

9. Energy

 Number of billionaires: 100, accounting for 4%

 Richest person: Robin Zeng ($28.4 billion), founder and chairman of electric vehicle battery supplier Contemporary Amperex Technology (CATL).  BMW, Volkswagen and Geely are some of the company's customers.

10. Media and Entertainment

 Number of billionaires: 95, accounting for 3%

 Richest person: Michael Bloomberg ($59 billion), co-founder of media and financial information company Bloomberg LP.
