This decision was made after 70% of the inhabitants of this famous tourist island have been vaccinated.

From next April, the quarantine period at the hotel will be halved to 7 days for those who have been fully vaccinated to the areas of Phuket, Pattaya, Koh Samui, Chiang Mai, Phang Nga and Krabi.

By the fourth quarter of this year, there will be 5 places to rest free of quarantine for visitors.  It is forecasted that Thailand will welcome 3 million foreign visitors this year, down sharply from nearly 40 million visitors in 2019 - the time before the pandemic broke out.
