The "Single Travel Route" initiative is only for single Thai tourists, both helping them find a partner and contributing to domestic tourism demand.  The trips will take place at different locations and there is always a fortune teller who companion to chat with visitors.

Mr. Yuthasak Supasorn - Director General of the Tourism Authority of Thailand, said that this tourism product is aimed at solo travelers who want to explore destinations in Thailand.  The "Single Travel Route" will connect people and some may become partners.

This program offers 9 travel routes all over Thailand for tourists to choose from.  The first trip took place on December 20, on a cruise along the Chao Phraya River in Bangkok.  100 guests have experienced sightseeing, visiting 9 temples, having dinner and talking with the fortune teller Chang-Tosaporn Sritula about heading to Buddha and praying for blessings.

Two other test trips will take place in January, including a beach music party in Phuket and a train tour to the "monkey city" of Lopburi and dinner on the Pa Sak Jolasi dam.  Expected next destinations are vibrant Pattaya and peaceful Mae Hong Son.
