Nordic walking is not a new exercise, but it is expected to be the the next fitness trend for the huge benefits it brings. According to Aaron Baggish, MD, a cardiologist at Massachusetts General Hospital, this nordic walking altitude is even popular to the elderly. Going to the train station and you will see droves of people who are over 70 waiting to go up to the mountain to walk with Nordic poles. This fitness can engageg from 80 to 90 percent of your muscles. Now that you have a reason to turn your walk into a workout.

People turn walking into a workout for their lower body because when walking without poles, the muscles below the waist will be active. However, with this nordic walking trend, you also activate all of the muscles of the upper body. According to several studies, nordic walikng plays an important role in increasing good HDL cholesterol, cardiovascular fitness, flexibility and endurance as well.

Nordic walking really put its name in the new fitness trends, attracting thousands of people following. Nordic walking trend has set its domination in Europe and many different parts of the world. It is suitable for all ages and abilities. Besides, it can be seen that this nordic walking is easy to learn and simple to do.  However, if it is the first time you do it, nordic walking technique is needed to ensure you can get the most from this nordic walking altitude and avoid any possible injures may involve.
