Pola Orbis Has Launched the Fiveism x Three line

Pola Orbis Holdings chases a multi-brand strategy in order to develop its cosmetics business. The beauty company has taken this strategy to facilitate proper responses to different customer requirements. Besides, this strategy also makes each of its brand’s image different from one another, contributing to wider market share overall.

According to a report, the net sales of the cosmetics company Pola Orbis in the year of 2016 were broken down by brand. This high-prestige cosmetics brand Pola achieved the highest net sales with around 116 billion Japanese yen.
 
The company Pola Orbis manufactures and sells cosmetics products, jewelry as well as health foods. It operates some sub-brands, such as Pola, Jurlique, H2O+ Beauty, and Orbis. According to a recent report that was published by The Japan News, J-beauty’s Pola Orbis has launched a make-up brand that is designed for the male market.
 
The men’s makeup line, Fiveism x Three, includes nail polish, lipsticks and foundation. All of these products are in multiple shades and easy-to-apply formats. Besides, with 15 different shades of foundation, the Japan-based brand has more shades than Pola Orbis’s line aimed at the female market. This is because the requirement for male make-up is increasing. Nowadays, many men apply make-up so that they can appear more competent.
 
The brand’s Fiveism x Three line will be sold online as well as in department stores in most of the big Japanese cities like Osaka and Tokyo. By 2020, Pola hopes to increase its sales revenue created outside Japan from 8.4% to more than 20%. The firm’s international expansion started in 2001 with a mail order business in the South Korea. And now, it has also had a presence in other countries such as Taiwan, Hong Kong and China.
