Meitu launches cleaning brushes with AI technology

May 09, 2019

AI beauty device is increasingly being sought by skincare lovers. Recently, Meitu has released a new line of skin care products that meets that beauty need. Let’s dig in detail in this post.

Meitu recently launched MeituSpa – a type of palm to clean AI, marking the first step of Meitu to enter the smart skin care market. MeituSpa will work with MeituSkin – an AI technology application to check the condition of the skin. They are designed to provide consumers with a highly specialized skin care regime that meets their individual needs.

Skin care equipment at home is receiving much attention

This AI beauty device will be sold online in Mainland – China for 598 RMB starting April 23, 2019.

“MeituSpa is the newest product launched as part of our Beauty and Social Media strategy. Though Meitu has always been a major provider of beauty services through photo editing, style recommendations, and virtual makeup looks, we are also working to bring Meitu’s brand of beauty out of the virtual world and into the real one,” says Meitu Founder and CEO Xinhong Wu.

The launch of this new device makes Meitu one of the first companies to offer an integrated AI product and traditional skin care methods.

This device uses Sonic pulse technology to help deep clean. MeituSpa is used for even sensitive skin, oily skin, neutral skin. Based on the client’s skin condition, MeituSpa will determine the most appropriate intensity from one to twelve modes and can reach 7500 pulses per minute. Each pattern includes sound cleaning, deep extract, nourishing and warm massage.

MeituSpa was developed to understand consumers to provide a personalized touch that allows it to address common consumer pain points such as excessive cleaning and improper use.

On the other hand, MeituSkin application accurately identifies problem areas such as blackheads, pimples, wrinkles, and dark spots. MeituSpa selects the most appropriate frequency and intensity for each mode based on skin test results and reminds users every 15 seconds during use to avoid abuse.
