Searching for cars at airport car parks takes you a lot of time. Airports are planning to launch new AI Robots to help park car for passengers. London’s Gatwick airport is a pioneer in launching passenger robots to assist passengers.

This is a project part of Crawley Borough Council. The project is designed to address the problem of optimizing parking areas. The campaign implemented will bring many benefits to both customers and airport managers.
This new campaign is scheduled to operate in April 2019. Robots will cling to the back of cars and drive them to the proper location of the car park. Customers need to book their cars using a touchscreen kiosk on arrival, electronic systems make it easier to pick up customers when they return to the airport.

This campaign was carried out at Dusseldorf airport with similar robot service in 2015. Recognizing the benefits that this campaign brought to Stanley Robotics - a French company continued to implement this project at London's Gatwick airport.
It is expected that in April 2019 the project will be implemented, starting to apply robotic valet service to help customers find suitable parking locations. So, whenever you have a flight at Gatwick, you won't need to worry about parking.
