Moser & Cie. is known as the Endeavour Perpetual Moon Concept which is a limited edition of 50 pieces in red gold or steel. Let’s take a look at it!

Concept watch from H.Moser & Cie.

Similar to other concept watches at Moser, the dial is stripped down to its bare essentials. The Moon is the undisputed star and is set against a majestic dark blue aventurine sky. H.Moser & Cie. concept watch is usually a one-off piece designed to showcase the brand’s wildest dreams or state-of-the-art technology. The purpose is to test reactions before deciding whether to go into production or not. The idea of this concept watch is a watch stripped of indices, logo and any other markings save the bare necessities to tell the time which is a clever marketing strategy. Having a distinctive look makes it easy for everyone to recognize the brand. The darkest and most Spartan moon-phase watch was produced by Moser last year. It is called the Endeavour Perpetual Moon Concept Vantablack because the pitch-black dial was crafted from Vantablack. It also has a nanotube-based pigment that is the darkest artificial substance on Earth. Additionally, the moon-phase function at 6 o’clock was the star of the show.

How about the precision?

The phases fitted with one of the most precise moon-phase complications, can be adjusted to the minute by a push-button on the side of the case. On average, the Moon’s orbital period lasts 29.53059 days. The intricate wheel train of this Endeavour Perpetual Moon Concept portrays this interval so precisely that the gap is a mere 0.23 seconds per day. Set against a blue background, the Moon is depicted with a silvery textured surface. You can adjust the phases of the Moon using the recessed pusher on the left case flank. This red gold watch model costs CHF 39,900.
