Dopamine is a neurotransmitter that is found in the brain that serves many purposes. It is related to memory, attention, productivity and weight loss along with important roles in limiting the impulsive behavior and preventing Parkinson’s disease.

Especially during the period of full social isolation, this is further necessary. Almond contains many tyrosine, which is why it is considered the best snack to eat to produce happy hormones, which enhances the sense of happiness in the human body.

2- Banana

 

Fruits such as bananas contain tyrosine along with a flavonoids known as quercetin. Both help produce the “dopamine” happy hormone production. In addition, bananas also contain many vitamins that help maintain good health for the brain which has long been recognized by science.

 

3- Dairy products

 

Dairy products such as fresh milk, yogurt contain important amino acids such as phenylalanine, tyrosine and mergenolone. They are building blocks of dopamine as well as essential hormones in the body. The best thing is that these products are always available, so let’s boost your drinking milk during this time!

 

4- Fish

 

DHA or Docosahexaenoic are omega-3 fatty acids which mainly found in fish such as salmon, mackerel, pilchard and herring. DHA helps to improve dopamine levels in the body along with the treatment of medical conditions like ADHD and dementia. Therefore, enhancing to eat fish during this time also helps you happier.

Tea, green tea (with caffeine) and dark chocolate are also the best sources of caffeine that help the morale to be lucid, increasing feelings of happiness.

Grapes contain an important antioxidant known as resveratrol that helps to increase dopamine levels in the brain. Antioxidants also help to prevent cell death by reducing oxidative stress in the body.

 

7- Blueberries

 

They are rich in flavonoids, anthocyanin and antioxidants that help protect the health of the brain and regulate the production of dopamine. Blueberries also help prevent Parkinson’s disease by reducing oxidative stress in the black substance area (substantia nigra) in the middle area of brain and striatum.

 

8- Spinach

 

Spinach or other leafy greens are primarily known to produce serotonin, a neurotransmitter similar to dopamine. They are also packaged with tyrosine that plays an important role in stimulating dopamine levels in the brain.

 

9- Fungi
