Japan’s new luxury train gives foreigners unique luxury travel experiences
This new luxury train is a good choice for those who want to experience the Japanese landscape in modern space.
Japan and its obsession with unique train concepts seem to end. After introducing several locomotives with a few themes around Kyoto houses and Pokémon, the country is currently tracking its latest version of -Toki no Yoake Monogatari.

Tale of the Dawn of an Era
The new luxury train will run between Kochi Station and Kubokawa Station. It also will connect Shikoku, Japan’s smallest island with four main islands with the Shinkansen high-speed rail network. Although frequented by a few people – Shikoku is a natural treasure that is unlike any other. With the launch of Toki no Yoake Monogatari, visitors will be able to travel through the island and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the countryside along the way.
The two seat car, 47-passenger train depicts the subject of time flow and is decorated with the sun and moon images outside and starry ceilings inside. It continues to contain individual seats with a counter or desk for a more intimate setting. Toki no Yoake Monogatari will pass through two separate routes and will also provide customers with a variety of delicious dishes during their 70 km journey.
