You may hear about this well-known diet since the Mediterranean diet is believed to be the best diet recently.

The idea of this diet is to eat less red meat, sugar and saturated fat, and exercise frequently.

The Mediterranean diet pyramid emphasizes fruit, vegetables, whole grains, beans, nuts, legumes, olive oil, seeds, and herbs.  

Then you need to eat fish and seafood at least twice a week as well as consume less poultry, eggs, cheese, and yogurt.

If you are searching for a vegetarian diet that you can take a break from, the Flexitarian diet is the best option. This word is a blend of “flexible” and “vegetarian”.

It is simple to follow the flexitarian diet because we only need to base our meals on five food groups: non-meat proteins, fruit and vegetables, whole grains, dairy, and sugar and spice.

Then we distribute our calorie consumption in a three-four-five ratio. This means we have roughly 300 calories for breakfast, around 400 calories for lunch and around 500 calories for dinner.

You can adjust the actual calorie consumption based on your activity level, gender, and physique.

Dash diet is an easy diet to follow with the main point is to stop hypertension.

Following the dash diet, you have to replace canned, smoked or processed food with fresh meat and fish, and using spices and herbs instead of salt.

Its main principle is very different from the above diets.

It encourages us to eat fewer carbs and sugar but eat more butter, double cream, full-fat yogurt, leafy greens, meat, and seafood.

When our body has low carbohydrate levels, it will enter ketosis, a process that burns fat for energy.

So be careful with this diet when you have underlying kidney or liver problems.

#5: WW (Weight Watchers) diet

The final diet of our top list is Weight Watchers diet which is a US-based company.

WW offers WW Freestyle program online to help its users lose weight with a price US$3.30 a week.

However, users will be invited to pay extra for group or one-on-one coaching.
