Does Novus Medical’s new stop snoring device actually work?

October 20, 2019

Snoring is a nuisance of so many people. Recently, a new snoring treatment has been launched by Novus Medical. Keep reading for more detailed information.

Disturbing snoring

For a long time, snoring has always been a problem, causing many people to have a headache. Novus Medical has just launched a new device designed to treat snoring, called Somnilase. What is special about it? Scroll down to see the details.

One of anti-snoring devices that really work?

With this new stop snoring device, the company explains about 41.5% of the population in the UK snore. However, only 5% of them are diagnosed and treated medically, making it a suitable complement to private cosmetic practice. The device with new snoring treatment strengthens the structure of the palate and soft uvula by micro-damage to the mucous membranes, Novus Medical advises.

Cosmetic surgeon Nathan Holt, who first supplied this new stop snoring device in the UK, explained that “During the treatment, a large amount of energy is applied. As a result, the soft palate is fixed and becomes more stable during breathing, since a greater resistance to the passage of turbulent airflow throughout the night is provided.”

Sleep Tight Mouthpiece

Regarding the accuracy of this new snoring treatment, the manufacturer has produced some results of small experiments. Somnilase underwent a small clinical trial in which 10 patients (nine men and one female with an average age of 38 years) had severe snoring measured themselves every night for four weeks and once a week for four days during the week to six months after treatment.

The survey results show that the average reduction of snoring in time and amplitude is from 40% to 60% in a period of four to six months. Meanwhile, more than 50% of the audience and their bedmates say improved excellence.

If this new stop snoring device is really work, it will be indeed a big step to help many people have quality sleep. If you have any experiences with stop snoring devices that actually work, let's share your reviews in the comment section below.
