Coty teamed up with Amazon to launch a personal beauty assistant designed for the Echo Show

Beauty Mega Coty Inc. has partnered with Amazon to release a personal digital assistant designed for the Echo Show, Amazons first Echo device with a touchscreen.

The combination of many technological techniques

The use of voice control Alexa, Echo Show combine voice and video content that allows consumers to use the occasional interface planning service. The personal beauty assistant will use attributes such as hair, skin and eye color and will be available in the UK via Echo Show and other Echo devices.

“Digital innovation with a focus on voice and virtual assistants is a key part of our digital strategy as we aim to bring consumers frictionless beauty experiences. We’re thrilled to be leading the market with the introduction of a visual beauty skill in the U.K., inspiring consumers to both hear and see new beauty looks as well as step-by-step tutorials. Further, this skill allows us to deliver an authentic and personalized experience for beauty enthusiasts that happens near real time, delivering customized looks in the context of a person’s lifestyle and personal attributes,” said Jason Forbes, Coty Chief Digital and Media Officer.

Coty-Amazon Echo is co-developed by Beamly, Coty, MarTech and OPearlo, Amazons development partners, and will be available on U.K. on the Echo Show as well as all other Echo devices this month.

Last year, CoverGirl (owned by Coty) tested Custom Blend, a custom AI-driven application that uses patent-pending video features, adjusts lighting when the user takes a self-portrait, to reach their exact skin color. The result, completely eliminated retailers, is a personalized platform mix that is delivered directly to the doorstep of the customer.
