Cara Delevingne flashes her 'lady garden' in racy photoshoot for cancer campaign

The 24-year-old Cara Delevingne appeared on the cover of The Sunday Times Style wearing nothing but a grey and gold ‘Lady Garden’ hoody and a strategically placed fake sunflower to cover her modesty.

September marks Gynaecological Cancer Awareness Month in the UK, and Cara Delevingne – Lady Garden Campaign is to raise awareness about the five gynaecological cancers - ovarian, uterine/endometrial, cervical, vaginal and vulval.

“I first became involved when my sister, Chloe, had a bit of a scare with a pre-cancerous cell,” . “She was very brave and spoke about it. It takes a lot of courage to talk about things like this. I think women need to be braver about it because otherwise people can be affected.” Cara Delevingne reveals.

The charity was launched last year by actress Mika Simmons and a group of female friends (Tamara Beckwith, Jenny Halpern, Astrid Harbord and Chloe Delevingne). High-profile supporters include Cara Delevingne, Poppy Delevingne and Ellie Goulding. The charity was set up following research from a leading female cancer charity that showed nearly a third of women aged 16 to 35 are too embarrassed to go to the doctor with gynaecological concerns.

The Lady Garden hoodie in black and grey as well as joggers will be available at Topshop starting on September 8th.
