It is true to say that fashion brands and beauty brands that rely on marijuana are skyrocketing. An industry predicted a total of 63 billion dollars (within five years). In 2019, marijuana was also likened to an herbal cigarette.

Using cannabis in fashion is now spreading out the world. Fashion brands have embraced the culture, reframed it and beautified it.

Cannabis has materialized on the runway from marijuana leaves on minis and coats, to leaves on leather bucket bags.

Alexander Wang, American fashion designer who known for his urban designs, is just one designer to have taken stoner icons such as the marijuana leaf to the high fashion catwalks of Paris. He incorporated the iconic leaf into his entire AW2019 line. And other top famous designer – Saint Laurent released a striped linen Baja hoodie that retailed for $US1600, and quickly sold out.

We saw marijuana designs that weared by Rihanna and Miley Cyrus shows luxurious and glamorous.

Barneys New York has just opened The High End – the first store for all cannabis product in Beverly Hills.

In May, Canadian cannabis manufacturer Canopy Growth bought the British beauty brand called This Works for £43 million ($79 million).

In Australia, the market for pharmaceutical cannabis is worth about $18 million annually. The cannabis marijuana market is expected to reach the US$3 billion in Australia by 2028. According to Adam Miller, founder of Budding Tec, Australia’s first medical marijuana consulting company, legalizing marijuana drugs in the United States has a domino effect worldwide. It can hardly be denied that cannabis is capable of dominating the pharmaceutical industry.

Cannabis is spreading out the world and entering a luxurious lifestyle in our modern life.
