Beauty brands is ready for comeback in the US market

Retailers have received a big message from officials at beauty brands across the US. This message is “Do not forget about us”. In fact, about one year ago, retailers and suppliers have struggled to find a way to beautify the beauty fit into the mass market landscape. Retailers are looking for space to build health clinics and health care areas. But pharmacies produce nearly 70% of retail sales of drug stores.

In fact, beauty has an important position in the health care revolution.  It is said that you could not be beautiful without being healthy.

The global wellness market worths 4.2 trillion. The Global Wellness Institute’s wellness and beauty expert, Jennifer Walsh, said that drug stores had a huge opportunity to tell their wellness story and came out ahead, and they had the perfect audience. This is a great opportunity of drug stores.

CVS Pharmacy is one of the largest beauty retailers in the US and is a health care company. CVS Pharmacy president, Kevin Hourican, said that as a purpose-led health care company, as well as one of the largest beauty retailers in the country, they wanted the millions of customers that visit CVS Pharmacy locations each day to see a more authentic and diverse representation of beauty products.

Target and Walmart are also going deeper into beauty products that contain less chemicals, the product contains natural ingredients at accessible prices. Hennington said: “Whether it is products free of phthalates, sulfates or parabens, we want our guests to have clear information on the products they are looking for and find them quickly”.

All in all, the beauty industry and the wellness industry have a close relationship.
