 Instead of a conservative, closed mindset, ask questions and listen attentively to the opinions and ideas of others.  They may know something you don't and consider, noting that both are probably true.

 The solution is to write down your ideas and goals, define a start date and deadline, and then just do it.  Forget about being successful.  Your goal is to take action steps big and small, your successive achievements will motivate you, push you closer to positive results.

 Learn to see success as something that can be shared.  If you are generous and helpful and supportive, then in your turn, they will also be generous.  As a result, each of us increases our chances of success and everyone has a chance to succeed.
